We're sorry to see you go! This page explains how to delete your Dinkli account and what happens to your data when you do.

How to Delete Your Account

Option 1: Through the App

  1. Open the Dinkli app on your device
  2. Navigate to your Profile settings
  3. Scroll to the "Account Settings" section
  4. Tap "Delete Account"
  5. Follow the prompts to confirm account deletion

Option 2: Contact Support

If you're unable to delete your account through the app, you can request account deletion by contacting our support team:

Please include your account email address and the reason for deletion in your request. We will process your request within 30 days.

What Happens When You Delete Your Account

Immediate Effects

  • Your account will be deactivated immediately
  • You will no longer be able to log in to the app
  • All active game bookings will be cancelled
  • You will stop receiving notifications and emails from Dinkli

Data Deletion

Within 30 days of account deletion, we will permanently delete or anonymize the following information:

  • Your personal profile information (name, email, phone number)
  • Your account credentials and authentication data
  • Your game preferences and booking history
  • Your payment information (if stored on our servers)

Information We May Retain

We may retain certain information for legal, regulatory, or business purposes, including:

  • Transaction records required for financial reporting and tax purposes
  • Information required to resolve disputes or enforce our Terms of Service
  • Anonymized usage data for analytics and service improvement
  • Information required by law or court order

Before You Delete

Please consider the following before deleting your account:

  • Active Bookings: If you have upcoming game bookings, they will be cancelled. You may want to cancel them manually first or wait until after your games are complete.
  • Membership: If you have an active monthly membership, it will be cancelled. You will not receive a refund for the current billing period unless required by law.
  • Data Backup: If you want to keep a copy of your game history or other data, please export it before deleting your account.
  • Reactivation: Once your account is deleted, it cannot be recovered. You will need to create a new account if you want to use Dinkli again in the future.

Alternative Options

If you're experiencing issues with your account, consider these alternatives before deleting:

  • Disable Notifications: You can turn off push notifications and email communications in your app settings
  • Cancel Membership: You can cancel your monthly membership without deleting your account
  • Contact Support: Our support team may be able to help resolve issues you're experiencing
  • Take a Break: You can simply stop using the app without deleting your account
